Shalimar is the idea of Jacques Guerlain which is a tribute to Indian Emperor Shahjahan and Empress Mumtaz basically Shalimar is the legendary garden created By Shahjahan in Kashmir Valley "Shalimar" which represents "Heaven with fragrant flowers". It was launched in 1925 with Baccarat crystal bottle which represents "Taj Mahal" and its fountain and the cap represents the crown of Empress Mumtaz.
