Givenchy L'Interdit 1957

                  Givenchy L'Interdit 1957

Introduction :-

L'Interdit was launched in 1957 under the well known designer fashion and fragrance house is known as Givenchy. L'Interdit by Givenchy is a Floral Aldehyde fragrance for women. But despite its name, L’Interdit ‘forbidden’ in French is, in my view, a rather uninteresting scent. Experience the thrill of the forbidden with L'Interdit, a fragrance that invites to defy convention and embrace the singularity. Designer Givenchy is a French fashion, accessories and perfume brand, founded by Count Hubert de Givenchy in 1952. Parfums Givenchy was founded in 1957, and their first fragrance was L'Interdit, again inspired by their most famous client, Audrey Hepburn. Among the first perfume creations of the house of Givenchy stands the legendary scent of L'Interdit from 1957, dedicated to actress Audrey Hepburn as the most significant muse of this fashion designer. when Givenchy asked Hepburn if he could commercialise the scent, she reputedly joked “je vous l’interdis!” – “I forbid you!” Keeping with the renaissance Givenchy is enjoying, the French maison unveiled the new formula L'Interdit, that Hubert de Givenchy originally created for his beloved muse, Audrey Hepburn, in 1957.  "The story of Givenchy brand began in Paris in 1952 when Hubert de Givenchy founded a Fashion House bearing his name. In 1953, the encounter between the designer Hubert de Givenchy and Audrey Hepburn marked the beginning of the brand’s close relationship with cinema. She became his muse, and he designed costumes for her films and honed her style. In 1957, Givenchy launched L’Interdit, a fragrance that had been originally designed for the actress. This is how the Parfums Givenchy company was born. Other memorable fragrances followed and in 1989, Givenchy branched out to cosmetics." The concept behind the creation is the "thrill of the forbidden" and the challenge of crossing the line. In Japan Audrey Hepburn is adored. She was the ultimate gamine, the incarnation of the Caucasian ideal, and her films’ popularity never seems to wane. In the princess fantasy of Roman Holiday or the artless guile of Holly Golightly, Ms Hepburn had an unthreatening innocence, a natural sense of style, and a beautiful, swan-like elegance that blinded people, to the limitations of her acting. Her face is, though, a popular choice with advertisers here, suggesting a bright-eyed innocence and impenetrable perfection.  There are notebooks, calendars, mouse-mats, and often see it plastered over one of the Japanese banks who use her as their ‘mascot’. This really was the scent of Audrey Hepburn, incidentally. It is said that upon her death, musty, powdery exhalations came from all her closets the smell of l’Interdit, lingering and sweet, still clinging to her dresses. Experience the thrill of the forbidden with the Givenchy L’Interdit for women. This sensual feminine fragrance challenges to defy all conventions, embrace the uniqueness and unleash the shocking side of self otherwise elegant personality. This represents a high class Royal Princess caged in Royal Palace unaware of general public life in the Kingdom or the country side and one day she broke the cage secretly and step into normal life of her Kingdom with her curiosity. Her shocking, thrilling, happy, sad, jealousy, good, bad, freedom, challenges, hurdles, fight, survival, romance, love, feelings and experiences that she felt the real life. Like the Audrey Hepburn's Character in Roman Holiday. The bottle is an homage to Hubert de Givenchy's first perfume, L’Interdit, from 1957. The modern version dares to forbid self of nothing and allow no rules.

Remark :-

L'Interdit 1957 is fresh, sweet, creamy, nutty, watery, citrusy, fruity, florals, spicy, oriental, ozonic, aromatic, gourmand, earthy, woody, musky, resinous, amber, smoky, incense, Royal, Freedom, Classy, Elegant, Gardenly, blissful, joyful, lovely, gorgeous, glamourous, luxurious, rich, luxurious, romantic, sophisticated, timeless, nostalgic, Feminine fragrance for Women. A tribute to fearless femininity hidden in a floral-woody fragrance. Givenchy presents L’Interdit, the next chapter of the iconic forbidden fragrance. Orange blossom and tuberose combine to create an exciting floral paradox that is cut by deep, wood undertones of musk, vetiver, and patchouli. It opens with a bright blast of citrus zests, neroli and sparkling aldehydes, softened by a heart of rose and jasmine absolutes from Grasse, pungent carnation and geranium, made heady by the warm woody notes including labdanum, oakmoss and precious Mysore sandalwood. Taking all the features of the classic floral aldehydes, but much thicker, woodier; dowdier, it emerges as a kind of flat, common denominator. The rose, the jasmine, the ylang ylang, the iris, the violet and the woods are all there as they should be, and it’s all fine, and perfumey, and ‘eventful’ and quite gaily and dustily ballgowny with its top note of cloves and sweet, fifties strawberry,  but somehow it remains dull. The champagne, aldehydic citric sparkle. The base, in the vintage, however, has an insinuating, myrrh-dusted vulnerability musk, benzoin, tonka bean and frankincense that redeems the perfume with a certain tenderness with others of the aldehydic persuasion whether there is often nothing but musk imagine that there must be some people out there hankering for this more original accord that does have clout.  Still, despite this latter feminine warmth, conservative perfume that speaks of the forbidden. Any Women of any age can wear this upon special occasions and the perfect for powerful Princess who lives her life on her own conditions with Full Freedom.

Recommendation :-

We suggest every Women must own L'Interdit 1957 but it has high expensive price tag so think it before purchasing it. From the well known designer fashion and fragrance house is known as Givenchy.
