Now it is not a smoky scent, there's just a hint of that specific aspect of vanilla absolute. The gorgeous accord is extended by a smooth cocktail of woody amber and musks with lovely, smooth, dry, semi sweet vanilla perfection. Very powdery vanilla orris scent with a touch of iris. I'm currently wearing this in the south of France and it feels like a perfect setting for this elite luxurious perfume.
