Kennedy politely asked with his charm to Albert to leave some samples eight samples of his cologne and one for the Bob. This is How the fragrance gets it's name "Eight And Bob" Albert allegedly left a sample of the scent at JFK’s hotel with a note: “In this bottle, you will find the dash of French glamour that your American personality lacks.” Says Albert Fouquet. After returning from his vacation, Albert received a letter from John F Kennedy in the U.S. thanking him for the kind gesture and informing him of the success his perfume was having among his friends. He requested Albert to send him eight samples, “and if your production allows, another one for Bob”. - Says John F.
