The grapefruit isn’t sour or bitter, and comes off similar to a grapefruit rind that was just scooped. The heart gets a bit warmer with dusty cinnamon and dry ginger spice. At this point, a shower gel type ambroxan does rise from the base, and I can see why some people may think of Dior’s Sauvage Elixir with it. Even though I think that comparison is not entirely indicative of the fragrance as a whole. The base reveals an earthy mix of patchouli and vetiver. It comes off as a bit drier, which is no doubt an aspect of the ginger playing into it.
